I’m currently listening to Cheap Trick waiting for ZZ Top to come on. I’m not at the show because I couldn’t justify the cost of the tickets.
As a consolation I’m drinking a gin and tonic on my screened porch and sitting with Ruby. I can hear the music just fine.

Cheap Trick is awesome. Saw them when they opened for STP in the 90s. They were the better band.

ZZ is on my list of bands I need to see while they’re still touring. I’d still like to actually catch them live and in person , but this beats just missing them.
I’ve actually done pretty well with crossing off most acts on that list so far. There’s a couple I need to see if they still tour, but I’ve probably crossed off 75% of the original list I made.

I saw them a few years ago when they were touring with someone else. They really do put on a good show.

I will say it’s been a benefit to buying this house I hadn’t expected. None of the bands have been loud enough to be a nuisance which helps.
